Fort William Lighthouse is a smaller Cape Coast heritage stop that works beautifully as a short viewpoint and context listing. Sited on Dawsonβs Hill, it was built in the early 19th century on a lookout post and later converted into a lighthouse. It does not carry the same visitor weight as Cape Coast Castle, but that is exactly why it is useful for a curated directory: it gives travellers a quieter way to see Cape Coastβs layered coastal history and town layout. Visitors interested in architecture, city views and less crowded historic places should consider adding it after the castle.
